Answered Prayer #1630
When my daughter was around 8 years old, she bumped her head very badly… I knew inside myself that this was somehow different. We comforted her and she seemed to settle a little, but did refuse supper, very unusual! I put her to bed, still feeling uneasy. After around 20 mins she was crying and came downstairs. One look at her extremely white face, telling me she felt sick, her head still really hurting, sent the alarm bells off in me! I rang the GP who, after hearing me describe her symptoms, said I had described a fractured skull! Take her to A&E! On the journey she had vomited and my stomach and knees were trembling! The doctors had difficulty laying her down as she was dizzy and felt sick. At this point, my strength left me, I needed privacy, so I went to the toilet and cried out to God… I can’t cope with this Father, you have to do it! A few moments later I started to walk back to casualty, as I did so, PEACE flooded me, anxiety gone! I Knew she was ok! I found her as she was going for X-rays, I accompanied her and told her she was fine, nothing wrong! She stayed in hospital overnight for observation, but was discharged the next day with Nothing Wrong!! Praise the Lord! What a faithful, healing God!
