I would like to tell you how the Lord Jesus healed me from terminal cancer. In February 2011 I went into St James University Hospital in Leeds, and had an operation to remove a tumour which was 13x15cm along with the right hand side of my liver. The tumour had also grown into my portal vein which meant the surgeon needed to cut the tumour out and then reconstruct the vein again. In October my AFP, started to rise again and in May 2012 I had another operation to remove a 5cm tumour from the left side of my liver. During June 2012 I was diagnosed with secondary cancer I had several inoperable tumours in both lungs. The Doctors gave me about 9 months to live if I took the medication they offered me. “The medication may reduce the tumours a little in 2% of people the Consultanat said.” Things looked really black but I decided I was going to trust the Lord Jesus for whatever the outcome would be. People all over the world prayed for me including people at St Andrew’s Church Starbeck. I asked the Vicar if he would hold a prayer meeting to pray for God to heal me. So members of St Andrew’s came together. I was anointed with oil, and hands were laid on me & they prayed for my healing. That night I knew God had healed me. I felt such joy and confidence. On the way out of church I said to my Mum “I’ve been healed” She said “Yes I know you have.” At that time I was going to the hospital for regular consultations. From that time on every time I went they took blood, my AFP started to fall & by November they were back into normal ranges. The November CT scan showed 2 very small tumours by May 2013 there was no sign of cancer whatsoever. I thank the Lord Jesus that he has given me my life back, & healed me. After I was healed I was in emotional pain thinking the cancer would return. I prayed and asked God to heal my mind as he had my body, but nothing happened. On 28th December 2013 I went to a friends wedding, I wasn’t even thinking of cancer, but just enjoying the singing before the bride arrived. We were singing Amazing Grace How Sweet the sound. The new version of the song as a chorus added which says. “My chains are gone I’ve been set free my Saviour God as ransomed me.” by Chris Tomlin At that point in the song it felt like I had big chains on my hands that broke & fell off. Since then I haven’t experienced the emotional anxiety. Indeed I feel I have been set free. Thank you Lord.
