Answered Prayer #12859
When I was pregnant with my second son I was told he had spina bifida after a blood test at about 16 weeks gestation. After being coerced in to having an amniocentesis and being told to seriously consider a termination(!) I went with my husband to Christian friends who laid hands on me and asked God to heal this unborn baby. A further high resolution ultrasound scan after this time, in London, revealed this little one to be fine, perfect in all details. 4 months later my son was born; healthy and whole. We called him Matthew – ‘gift of God’.
