Jesus saved me when I had no hope

From the age of 16-34 I lived a life of drinking, smoking and awful/terrible relationships, sometimes violent ones. When I couldn’t take it anymore, I mean I had no hope, I just wanted to end it all. I was not a Christian, I knew nothing about Christianity, in fact I didn’t take it seriously at all. One day I just cried out to Jesus, I don’t know why I did it; it was the first name that came out of my mouth, I was so desperate. But Jesus answered me; it was a miracle. I instantly saw a bright light twirling around in my bedroom and saw a reflection of a cross on my TV (my TV was not on). To be honest I was scared because I didn’t know what was happening. Now I am living. I’m living such an awesome, joyful, transformed life. God has healed my hurt in such a way that I don’t even recognise myself anymore. With the level of transformation I have gone through, so much so that my brother, niece and some of my friends are saved now. Thank you Jesus for answering my call and healing my heart completely. For everything I am truly grateful to you forever my saviour. God is in the habit of healing hearts with his love and I am glad He healed mine!
