Answered Prayer #4158
My wife and I were in Christian service and only receiving a small income from the charity. In trying to make ends meet we had reached a point where we were £1,300 in debt. We had no way of easily paying this off, but turned to God, our provider, praying that He would meet our need. We did not tell ANYONE about our situation. The following week we attended a leadership conference where the main speaker, during one session, asked the assembled conference to take up a special offering for those in ministry who were struggling with poverty. My wife and I felt moved to give toward this offering to help out, but missed the opportunity. Determined to help, I went to the speaker in the break but before I could speak, he said “That offering is for you and your wife – they gave us £1320!!!! Praise be to God.
