Answered Prayer #12011
I lost my job in 2016. I got home and I was sad and broken, my daughter had just started college, I sat on my couch and opened the Bible at random, it opened to Isaiah 41:10 – “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” I prayed and I printed out the verse; I asked my daughter to tape that verse through the entire house, which she did. I was looking for a job for 8 months, and miraculously God supplied all of our needs.
On December 2017, when I was at my last drop of cash, a person walked into my garage and asked if I was selling my house.
I said, “No, I am not”.
She said, “I have been praying to be able to buy this house for 10 years.”
I immediately heard a voice that said: ‘He who have ears, hear what God is saying.’
I said to the woman, “I cannot show you the house right now, it is a mess as we moved everything upstairs to redo the floor downstairs.”
She replied, “I can look through mess.”
I let her come in. She walked through the front door and like a crazy person, said, “This is it, this is the house, I want it!”
Perplexed by her statement I asked her, “What do you mean? You have only looked at the Foyer!”
She said, “You see that verse written on paper right there? That was my mom’s verse, that is the sign I asked God for! This is my house!”
That very evening I sold her the house, and avoided the potential issue of not having cash to pay the next month’s mortgage. Through a miracle, and without a job for the next 5 months, God provided for us financially. He even gave us the dream of our lives, a farm with 2 acres of land, across from the most beautiful lake. God is amazing.
