Answered Prayer #12883
I walked into a shoe store to look for a pair of shoes and when I went to check out and pay for my shoes I felt in my heart that I was supposed to ask the lady if she had anyone sick in her family. She said “Yes my father is in the hospital with stage 4 cancer…” I asked her to pray with me and she came around from behind the counter and we prayed together to the God who delights in answered prayer and when we prayed she thanked me and I left the store with my new shoes. About 6 months later I had forgotten about praying for that lady’s father and I went back to that store for another pair of shoes. As I walked in, this lady sees me and points to me and says “You!!! I have been asking God to send you back hear for 6 months!! The doctors are totally amazed and have said nothing they have tried to do turned my father around. He is completely healed of stage 4 cancer!!” Then I remembered that we had prayed together for her dad and the God who delights in answered prayer showed up in a powerful way by healing her dad completely! Glory to God whose mercies are new every morning and His compassion fails not! Jesus took stripes on His back that we could be healed!
