Answered Prayer #3022
One day several years ago, unusually for me, I went shopping for several hours. I should have known better than to trawl around for so long especially when I felt awful. I went to pay for my train ticket home, only to discover my purse was not there. I emptied my bag/bags, as you do- only it was not there. I’d been to the cashpoint; I could not remember if I had taken my purse out in any of the shops I’d been in. I didn’t have money at home/there was no one to borrow it from close-by. I could not bear it. All of a sudden, it was all too much. I started telling God so. I asked Him to return my purse to me, I needed Him to. Praying all the time, I went down the ramp to the cash point, just in case. Then I went into all the shops in the square that I could remember going in. No-one had seen the purse. After the last shop, I walked down the mall, spotted a couple of security guards, was about to tell them my predicament. Suddenly, a man walked over, tapped me on my shoulder. When I turned round, he said “Excuse me, is this yours?” He held out his hand. In it was my purse!
