Answered Prayer #10859
Jesus healed my brother, twice. When my brother was 21, he suffered a burst brain aneurysm. For days it was touch and go whether he would survive. I had just begun my journey with Jesus, and I didn’t know what else to do but pray and ask for a sign that all was going to be okay for my brother. I ‘blindly’ opened my bible and was led immediately to Luke 24 and the story of the resurrection. I knew at that moment that my brother would pull through; and he did. Then 4 years ago when my same brother was 31, he suffered a massive stroke (doctors said it was unrelated to the aneurysm). He was in a coma for 5 weeks and we were told that he would remain in a vegetative state if he came round. Again my default action was prayer, what else was there. And guess what…..he did pull through. He had to learn everything as if he was a baby, but after 8 months in hospital he came home. He has some memory issues and common lasting effects like tiredness and slurred speech, but my brother is still with us and enjoying life again. Proof that Jesus not only answers prayer once, but will again and again if only He’s asked. Amen.
