Answered prayers
We believe when we pray to Jesus He answers.
- That might be an immediate answer
- That might be an answer but not what we expect
- It might be an answer that we have to wait for
- It may be the answer is no
- Prayer is a conversation with Jesus and sometimes the answer is just the simplicity of Him speaking to us
All of these answered prayers will be represented in Eternal Wall.
Guided safely off the moors
Answered Prayer #4047 It was a cold November morning and we arrived at Edale. The whole family clambered out of the car, ready for our walk. The walk was tiring but, after a lovely lunch of soggy sandwiches, chocolate and drinks, we started the return walk. As we...
From suicide watch to published writer
Answered Prayer #12023 I had just become aware of my surroundings and was lying in a bed in an addictions/mental health crisis center on suicide watch via the hospital. What a way to spend my 40th birthday. From a failed suicide attempt and had been entangled in...

Answered Prayer #1938 For over 20 years our church has met in school halls and community centres. For many of these years we’ve longed and prayed for our own ‘home’. A place that we can call our own and serve the community from. We had now idea how we’d ever find the...

Answered Prayer #3692 One night in 1985, my wife and I were sailing a chartered 27-foot yacht from the Isles of Scilly to Falmouth. The wind was against us, blowing force six, and we had two seasick crew. In strong winds, steering is hard work. My wife was expecting,...

No serious injury after 15ft fall
Answered Prayer #11791 My dad was up some ladders fixing my grandads roof, he slipped and fell about 15ft to the floor. He could barely breathe and was in agony. They put him on a plank board with box neck brace to support his head. When they did an X-ray; it showed a...
